The Myriad Music School opened its doors to piano and trumpet students in 1997. Music education can start early at our school. One of our greatest pleasures is having a parent and child enroll together. The way we determine how we can best help your child is to invite you and your child to attend a complimentary first lesson with one of our teachers. This is an opportunity for you to meet with the teacher, get a sense of their teaching style and see how your child responses to their personality and teaching methods.
Our younger students get a head start from Kindermusik and Music for the Young Child.
We offer both private lessons and ensemble classes.
Piano. The piano teachers at the Myriad Music School believe that every child can succeed given the right tools. Success-based lessons and purposeful home practice means that our pianists improve daily, love the piano and take ownership of their success! These are the young musicians who take music with them for the rest of their lives, in whatever capacity is right for them.
Guitar. Guitar lessons at the Myriad Music school are tailored to each student's learning objective and interests. Instruction covers a range of techniques, including Classical, Jazz, Flamenco, Folk, and Rock & Roll.
Voice. The professional and fun, university-trained voice teachers at the Myriad Music School teach students how to sing healthfully with the correct technique that keeps the vocal cords safe while maximizing vocal projection. With skilled guidance, young and mature singers will be amazed at what the human voice can do. Come and explore your singing voice with us!
Flute & Trumpet. Instructors at the Myriad Music School draw from a rich mixture of methods and melodies to create a unique curriculum that addresses the specific needs of each student. Our fun, university trained teachers guide each student at their own pace, provide encouragement, motivation, and inspiration to rise to the next level of musicianship. We help our students set weekly goals towards improvement.
Violin. Instruction covers traditional reading approaches combined with some Suzuki exercises.
Piano teams. Piano teams are fun, unique piano classes of 2-4 children, where students have fun at the beginning of each class playing rhythm and note-reading games that reinforce music theory, hand coordination and piano skills.
The Children’s Choir & Chamber Singers are accepting new members! Interested singers and their parents are invited to visit a rehearsal. We offer two Children's Choir Levels : Ages 5 - 7 (No audition necessary) and Ages 8 – 10. Children in our choirs gain confidence and improved self-esteem through song.
Our students are taught the benefits of body and postural awareness and proper breath support.
