The Little Italy Inn stands in the center of the famed Little Italy section and just minutes from downtown San Diego’s vibrant Gaslamp Quarter. You are literally steps from wonderful restaurants, sidewalk cafes, artful boutiques and even a barbershop and butcher shop that date back to the settlements beginning. Exploring Little Italy, downtown and famous attractions are as simple as walking, hoping a trolley, hailing a taxi, or even reserving a chauffeured bicycle cab. Adventure is right outside your door at the Little Italy Inn.
Originally constructed in 1910, today ownership has remodeled this beautiful Inn and preserved its architecture and warmth. Over the years our landmark building has been host to many colorful personalities including the Italian Sailing Team during the Americas Cup held in 1992.
Our lovely Inn offers 23 beautiful rooms, each with their own distinctive design and décor from elegant to chic to French country and more. While each room is unique, below we have grouped them with Italian colors to simplify room rates.
Our intimate atmosphere is the perfect alternative to larger corporate hotel chains. We provide our guests with premium memory foam mattresses (in most rooms) to ensure a refreshing night’s sleep. Accommodations feature heat/air conditioning, free local calls, voice mail messaging, cable TV, in-room safes, fluffy spa robes, and select rooms with spa tubs or kitchenettes. We offer European-style Continental Breakfast, Complimentary in-room bottled water. We have finely crafted Victorian and Craftsman style furnishings, which have been chosen for their incomparable excellence and style. Hand selected art compliment our décor. Luxurious bedding dressed in the finest linens and custom duvets will assure a restful night’s sleep. Irons with boards, hairdryers, VCRs, DVD players, fridges, and Microwaves are available upon request.
Each Room has one of four unique styles:
