Maria Montessori lived from 1870 to 1952. She was the first woman to attend medical school and the first female Doctor of Medicine in Italy. As a result of her further study, observation, and experimentation, she found the principles of her method to be applicable to all children. The best time to start your child's education is during the early years- 21/2 to 41/2 when most of his intelligence and social characteristics are formed.
