Our goal is to deliver services that meet or exceed our customers' expectations. With this in mind, over 300 full-time staff in over 30 offices is readily available to assist job seekers, employers and all other Proteus stakeholders. With pride, Proteus seeks funding from federal, state, local public and private agencies that will enable our organization to do what we do best: train, educate, and nurture a self-sufficient customer. Because our employees are our most valued assets, Proteus provides a comprehensive benefits program designed to help and support our employees during many different times in their life - such as illness, childbirth, and retirement.

Medical Program
Proteus is proud to offer two health plans, HMO, and PPO that give our employees flexibility and provider choice. That's why our plans offer a wide range of medical and preventive care services and lets the employee decide which plan meets the employee's medical care needs. Prescription coverage is also included in both medical plans.
Dental/Vision Program
The dental and vision plans, included with the medical plan, allow our employees provider choice with both a discount program and provider choice, all through a cost reimbursement program. In some cases, charges are covered 100%.
Retirement Plan
Helping our employees plan for their financial future has always been a priority for Proteus. To assist our employees in this, we offer professional financial consulting by industry experts for our employees as well as a Proteus-sponsored retirement program. Proteus contributes on behalf of our employees a percentage of salary to the employee's Proteus-sponsored retirement plan. Employees are also encouraged to contribute to on their own behalf.
Life Insurance
This Proteus-paid life insurance plan provides financial protections for our employees' beneficiary(ies).
Voluntary Life Insurance
To supplement the coverage provided by Proteus, employees may purchase optional life insurance for themselves, their spouse, and dependents.
Disability Insurance
Proteus provides two disability, short and long-term, insurance plans. The Proteus-paid plans provide financial assistance for employees should employees become physically unable to perform their usual and customary job duties.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Employees can use pretax dollars to pay medical or dependent care expenses.
Employee Assistance Program
Proteus provides an employee assistance program to help our employees and their families address those issues and problems that come up from time to time - the complications of our busy lives. This comprehensive resource is available 24 hours a day.
Paid Leave
In addition to 11 paid holidays, Proteus offers its eligible employees 18 paid days of vacation leave for employees employed 1 to 3 years; 21 days for those employed 3 to 5 years; 24 days for those employed 5 or more years. In addition, we offer 6 days of paid sick leave.
Discount Tickets
Special discounts for amusement parks, water parks, movie theatres and more are available to our employees.
