We are here for your beauty needs, with services and beauty supplies. All work is done by students under licensed supervision. Our school is owned and operated by people dedicated to the beauty industries. It is our goal to provide training leading into careers into the beauty industry. The Career Academy of Beauty, a Vocational Cosmetology Institution founded in 1967, was originally located in the Rossmoor Shopping Center, Seal Beach, for 34 years. In May 2001, the Academy moved its location to larger, expanded facilities. With 10,000 sq ft of space, the Academy has sufficient and adequate space for the teaching of Theory, Practical Applications, and Clinic Areas, to give the students quality education in all courses. Besides our expert instruction, there is an abundance of clientele that patronize the Academy for hair, skin, and nail services. This hands-on practice gives the students the confidence and experience they need to enter the job field.The Academy is constantly improving and updating the teaching curriculum and the facilities to meet the criteria for a modern, up-to-date school of cosmetology. Fine innovations and new motivating ideas enhance this well established Academy.
Our financial Assistance Programs is offered to all qualifying students including: Federal Grants, Rehabilitation, Immigration I-20 for M-1 Visa students, Student Loans, Community College Adult Education, Social Security, W.I.A., T.R.A., V.A.

- Cosmetology (58 stations, 8 shampoo bowls, 16 dryers)
- Esthetician (10 fully equipped facial tables; 3 waxing and microdermabrasion room; 3 make-up stations, dressing room, separate dispensary)
- Manicuring (6 nail bar permanent stations; 8 portable tables; 4 pedicure stations)

Theory Classroom
The Theory room is used for the lecture portion of your training. Classes are taught by our own licensed instructors. Also, many industry professionals are invited to teach new techniques and advanced procedures. A full reference library of videos and books is also available.
Main Cosmetology Clinic Floor
Each station equipped with individual lockers, hydraulic chairs and electricity.
Esthetician Department
For skin care, make-up and waxing. Completely equipped with the latest equipment and instructional techniques.
Manicuring
A nail bar area and separate area for pedicures. There are also portable tables to use at the dryer area.
