The Magic Flute is a locally owned and operated single-location business. Established in 1976 in San Rafael (Marin county), California, it is conveniently located in a modern shopping center (lots of free parking) called Northgate One, in the suburb of Terra Linda. Open 7 days a week, 358 days a year, the business is now in its 30th year of continuous operation under the same management.
The Magic Flute printed music department, staffed daily by experienced sales people, is the most comprehensive in the entire Bay Area. Almost anything in print, if not in stock, can be ordered by phone, fax or on-line. Special and hard to locate items become a willing challenge to our very resourceful staff.
The service department is staffed by several technicians, each an experienced professional in his own field. On the premises repairs are done daily on all woodwinds, brasswinds, horns, guitars, all orchestra strings plus many miscellaneous small instruments (but unfortunately, not accordions).
